The Med-Pro products are Health Insurance products and not a Medical Aid Scheme. The Med-Pro products can be taken together with any medical aid scheme as a GAP cover which will enhance the medical aid scheme benefits or Med-Pro Health Care can be taken as a stand-alone.

Our Administrator’s number, Africa-Assist, is your most important number as Africa-Assist manages all authorisation and the dispatch of ambulances. All agreements with hospitals and emergency rooms is through Africa-Assist and Africa-Assist will handle all admissions to hospitals. Med-Pro is underwritten by a registered South African Insurer.
